COMPOSITION

Santie and Tommie stay in House Pikkewyn with 12 boys. The youngest is 8 and the eldest 18 years old.

INTERESTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

The boys are keen at playing rugby, and enjoys fishing expeditions.
The Dutch Reformed Churches that are involved are Bethlehem East, Tweeling, Petrus Steyn and Cornelia.

The churches treat the children with sweets, fruits and give them birthday parties. Every year they provide our children who are leaving school with clothing of their own choice for their matric farewell. Boys being confirmed at church also receive clothing of their choice. 

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE HOUSE

 We live on the top floor and our balcony provides us with a beautiful view of the town. We also have a garden at our entrance.
We attend the Dutch Reformed Church Bethlehem East and the boys also participate in the Sunday school.

CHURCH AND SCHOOL PARTICIPATION

The boys attend Bethlehem Voortrekker Highschool, Maluti Hoogland Special School and Truida Kestell Primary School.

NEEDS

• Donations for sport- and recreational tours
• We also need a kettle, iron and bedding for the boy who leaves school at the end of the year.
• Toiletries for boys
