COMPOSITION

Joyce lives in Karee with 12 boys. Their ages are between 2 years and 19 years.

CHURCH AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

The Dutch Reform Church of Villiers is supprting the house. The children receive clothes from people in the community and are lucky to enjoy a meal at the Wimpy once a quarter. In many instances we receive meat, fruit, vegetables and “mielies” from the community.

CHARACTERISTICS

Karee boys participate in gardening every Saturday morning and they enjoy it.

CHURCH AND SCHOOL PARTICIPATION

We attend the Dutch Reformed Bethlehem West services on Sundays.

Karee has children who attend different schools in town and in the location, such as Maluti Hoogland Special School, Bethlehem Combined School, Motshepuwa Primary School, Thabo Thokoza and bethlehem Voortrekker Highschool.

NEEDS

Karee’s needs are the following:

• Donations for Sport- and Recreational Tours.
• Basic supplies for the school-leavers.
