The girls enjoy spending time with friends. The boys play rugby and climb trees.
CHURCH AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
The Dutch Reformed Churches that are involved are Bethlehem Môrelig, Parys East, Warden and Vredefort.
They treat the boys with cake and sweets on their birthdays. There are groups who also deliver groceries and parcels during the month. They provide us with groceries once a term.
Some of the church members visit us from time to time. They never come empty handed, and treat the children with something nice to eat. They also help to keep our house in a good condition.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE HOUSE
Our house has an intimate, home-loving atmosphere. There is place to play rugby and soccer. The main room in the house is the dinning room were we play games, watch TV and DVD’s.
CHURCH AND SCHOOL PARTICIPATION
We attend the service and Sunday school of the Dutch Reformed Church Bethlehem Môrelig.
The children attend the following schools: Voortrekker High School, Maluti Hoogland Special School, Truida Kestell Primary School and The Anchor.
NEEDS
- We also need kettles, irons, frying pans and bedding for the boys who leaves school at the end of the year.
